The journey towards a greener future begins with one single pixel.

Not sure what to do with your old Samsung TV or electronic device? Drop it off at an e-ColleX location - there are 15 nationwide, and more on the way. (Non-Samsung-branded electronics will be accepted for a nominal fee.) It will be taken to the facilities of Global Electric Electronic Processing (GEEP) - our recycling partner. Once there, plastics, glass and hazardous materials (like cathode ray tubes) are removed. Devices are then broken apart by a machine that smashes them using the equivalent force of a 10-story drop. The pieces are then sorted by hand and machines to extract as many different materials as possible. Plastics are recycled or converted into diesel fuel; metals like copper and iron can be re-used to make pipes and wire; cardboard is shredded and recycled. Almost everything is recycled and re-purposed.
