how to - make an update CD
- Download the software update file for your hardware.
- If the update is compressed (zip file or rar file), the file should be uncompressed before burning.
- You must burn the update file on a blank CD-R/W disc by using "Burn Image" option.
- Burn an image file of the software update file (*.iso)
how to - update your player with your CD
- Press OPEN/CLOSE to open the disc tray.
- Insert the update CD-R disc with the software update, label facing up.
- Press OPEN/CLOSE to close the disc tray.
- Wait 1-2 minutes until the screen displays "Verifying Firmware version..."
- After checking old and new version,
select "Yes" or "No" with "◀" or "▶"
on the remote control.
If you select "No", BD-P1200 will be
powered off in a state of tray open.
- Press ENTER button on the remote control.
- Remove the update CD from the tray.
- Screen will display "Firmware Update Now Processing... Please do not turn off the power".
This process will take 4-5 minutes. When done the screen and power will turn off automatically.
- Turn the unit on again with the power button. They tray will close automatically and a
Menu Language Selection screen will open.
- Select the Language you want by pressing the corresponding number button.
- Update is complete.
