SAMSUNG'S FOUR SEASONS OF HOPE AND COMPUSA RAISE ALMOST $100,000 FOR ARNOLD PALMER HOSPITAL FOR CHILDREN & WOMEN IN ORLANDO

Major National Promotion at CompUSA Stores To Benefit The Hospita’'s Vision To Expand Services To The Community

Orlando, FL - Samsung’s Four Seasons of Hope, a charity benefiting kids and families, and CompUSA, one of the country's leading retailers of technology equipment, teamed up with golf legend Arnold Palmer this past fall to raise close to $100,000 for Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children & Women. A presentation of the check was made today to Arnold Palmer from executives at both Samsung and CompUSA at a special ceremony at the Bay Hill Club & Lodge in Orlando

All of the funds for Arnold Palmer Hospital were raised this past fall via consumer donations made as part of the sale of Samsung products at CompUSA’s stores across the country. During the eight-week promotion, $20 was donated to the hospital for every purchase of Samsung’s 170MP 3-in-1 computer monitor. A $20 donation was also made every time someone signed up to attend CompUSA’s "Fun With Family Photos" in-store class.

"Samsung is honored to be teamed with such a valued partner as CompUSA to help support the important work that is being done at Arnold Palmer Hospital," said Peter Weedfald, Vice President, Strategic Marketing & New Media, Samsung Electronics America, Inc. "This is a true partnership at the highest level with companies working together to help their communities and a good cause."

"CompUSA is glad that it could open the doors of its 227 stores to Samsung’s Four Seasons of Hope to help raise funds for Arnold Palmer Hospital," said Hal Compton, President, CompUSA. "The money we collected will support the many unique services the hospital provides."
