SAMSUNG AND CIRCUIT CITY LAUNCH PROMOTION IN SUPPORT OF
DAN MARINO FOUNDATION

Hall of Fame Quarterback to Make Appearance at Miami Circuit City on Oct. 7

 

RIDGEFIELD PARK, N.J., Oct. 6, 2008 – Samsung’s Four Seasons of Hope program, an innovative philanthropy initiative that combines the forces of major national retailers with sports, music and civic personalities, along with retail partner Circuit City today launched a retail promotion to help raise funds for The Dan Marino Foundation.  Now through October 25, consumers can save up to $200 when purchasing select Samsung HDTVs with Circuit City’s firedogSM in-the wall installation. In addition, a portion of sales from all Samsung products sold in-store, online at www.circuitcity.com or by calling 1-800-THECITY will go to The Dan Marino Foundation.

Founded in 1992, The Dan Marino Foundation supports medical research, treatment, and outreach programs for children with chronic illnesses and developmental disabilities. The Foundation has raised more than $22 million to provide these programs and services that have benefited hundreds of thousands of children and their families. Dan Marino and his Foundation have been a part of Samsung’s Four Season of Hope since 2004.
