Samsung's Hope for Education Contest

Write a 100-word essay discussing:

"How has technology educated you on helping the environment and how or why has it changed your behavior to be more environmentally friendly?"

for an opportunity to win over $200,000 worth of Samsung technology, Microsoft software and cash grants from DIRECTV, as well as the SCHOOL CHOICE® educational television programming package for the school of your choice.

Jordan Pruitt believes in improving education and don't want you to miss out on this amazing opportunity. In 2008, Samsung's Hope For Education program will provide more than $2 Million in technology, software, cash grants and educational television programming.

Prizes:

1 Grand Prize Winning School receives:
$100,000 awarded in the form of Samsung Merchandise
$100,000 awarded in the form of Microsoft software
$5000 (awarded in the form of a check)
one(1) Classroom Assistant Dog and the DIRECTV GOES TO SCHOOL® package.

30 First Prize winning schools receive:
$30,000 awarded in the form of Samsung merchandise and
$30,000 awarded in the form of Microsoft Software, $1,000 (awarded in the form of a check) and the DIRECTV GOES TO SCHOOL® package.

31 Nominators:

  2. How technology products can be made, used and disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner.

  3. Why technology will play an increasingly important role in educating people and helping them to change their lives in an environmentally responsible way.
