REGIS & JOY PHILBIN TO EMCEE ANNUAL FOUR SEASONS OF HOPE GALA FUNDRAISER

Ridgefield Park, NJ – Regis Philbin, the popular host of TV’s “Live With Regis & Kelly” and “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire,” and his wife and occasional co-host Joy Philbin, will be showing their philanthropic sides on June 7th when they host the Third Annual Sounds of Samsung’s Four Seasons of Hope. Regis and Joy will be joined at the star-studded event by Magic Johnson, Joe Torre, Boomer Esiason, and Jon Bon Jovi, who have partnered with Samsung’s Four Seasons of Hope to raise funds to benefit children and families in need. The event, which will take place at Cipriani in New York, will honor the year-round charitable efforts of these American Legends.

“Samsung is deeply honored to have Regis and Joy Philbin as the Masters of Ceremony at this year’s event,” said Peter Weedfald, Senior Vice President of Strategic Marketing and New Media. “Their dedication to doing good works as well as their irrepressible warmth and humor will make this an event to remember.”

Samsung’s Four Seasons of Hope is national goodwill program that brings together five superstars and their charities -- basketball’s Magic Johnson, baseball’s Joe Torre, football’s Boomer Esiason, golf’s Arnold Palmer, and music’s Jon Bon Jovi – for a unique, retail program that aims to improve the quality of life for children and their families.

The Samsung’s Four Seasons of Hope Charities include:

The Magic Johnson Foundation. Founded by Magic Johnson following his retirement from the NBA in 1991, the foundation aims to improve the lives of inner-city children.

Joe Torre Safe At Home Family Foundation. Created in 2002 to support women and children exposed to domestic violence.

Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children & Women. Located in Orlando, Florida, the hospital is the only hospital in the southeast – and one of only six in the nation – dedicated to serving the unique needs of children and women.

Boomer Esiason Foundation to Benefit Cystic Fibrosis. Created by Boomer Esiason and his wife in 1993 after their son was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis, the foundation works to raise money to find a cure for the genetic disease. To date, more than $12 million has been raised for the cause.

Jon Bon Jovi’s charities of Philadelphia include: The Philadelphia Children’s Alliance (PCA), the Northern Home for Children, Corporate Alliance for Drug Education (CADE), and Philabundance.
